We currently have an opening for a Field Applications Engineer that will be located in South Korea.
Summary:
The primary focus of this position is to provide the best-in-class technical & application support to key customers in South Korea with the end-point of achieving Design-Win.
Responsibilities:
· Provide Technical Support to Sales Manager on product selection based on customer application input
· Provide Pre-Sales Technical Support to customers on Design-in projects and achieve Design-Win
· Provide Post-Sales Technical Support to customers on product issues trouble-shooting
· Provide Technical Training to customers and distributor on regular basis
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics)
· Well versed in LED chips, LED packaging, Product Characterization, LED Application (SSL, Backlighting)
· Well versed in optics/thermal/electronics design for SSL applications
· Well versed in Lighting Fixture Design
· More than 8-Year in LED related working experience
Preferred Qualifications:
· Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics)
· Well versed in DOE Energy Star Standards, Korean High Efficacy Standard, UL standard.
