Support & Delivery Engineer (Telecom IP) - US MNC (Petaling Jaya) Post Date: 24 Sep 09

Job Scope: Provide high quality of Level 3 technical support and resolve issues faced by telecom operator customers in the region. Job Responsibilities: Handle and resolve tickets escalated by Level 1 support.  Being able to identity the problems faced by the customer correctly Prioritize and resolve cases in a timely manner Work with R&D team and other Level 3 support teams to resolve customer and product issues Keep track and update status of tickets Pro-actively work with customers in terms of training, platform improvements, new product releases and features Job Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent Minimum 5 years of working experience, at least 3 years in a technical support position, either in the Telecommunications sector or IT companies that support telecom customers Strong in telephony, IP networks, VoIP architectures and protocols Familiar with Linux operating system and possess background in networking products, particularly for VoIP configurations Familiar with IPX and TCP/IP addressing and configurations Strength in VoIP and SIP preferred Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills Excellent communication skills in English Able to be flexible with work hours and ability to take pressure Interested applicants, kindly send detailed resume, listing relevant technical comptencies as stated in the requirements above, via email to: resume@agiley.com We regret that only shortlisted candidates are to be informed.
