Senior Software Engineers required immediately for a prestigious global software development company located in Dublin, Ireland Reporting to the Development Manager the role will involve working on proprietary trading strategies that will run on a high-performance, electronic trading platform. Responsibilities include improving the scalability, performance and efficiency of existing strategies. This position involves strong collaboration with traders to research and prototype new strategies. THIS ROLE IS BASED IN DUBLIN, IRELAND Skills / Experience At least five years development experience in highly complex, technical, and/or distributed systems A strong C++ background with excellent knowledge of core Java Candidates should have an interest in trading and financial markets A degree in computing, or engineering Strong mathematical aptitude; background in math, physics, or statistics is a plus A team player, with the ability to take initiative Ability to communicate effectively at all levels This is an excellent opportunity to join a software company that rewards hard work and creativity with an above market salary and excellent benefits package.
