position : SITE SUPERVISOR for IR PROJECT
Responsibilities:
The Site Supervisor reports directly to the Project Director, he competently coordinates and directs site installation activities. He will be fully aware of fixing / installation details and materials specification, all as indicated on the approved shop drawings. He will instruct, oversee and closely monitor the site installation procedures and will maintain a constant presence at the work face.
The Site Supervisor is responsible of the following duties:
- To coordinate all site installation matters and rectify problems encountered on-site.
- To liaise and coordinate with other contractors on all daily site activities.
- Maintain and implement a safe working environment, in conjunction with Safety Supervisors.
- Monitor and implement regular om-site house keeping.
- Responsible for full understanding of Project Quality Plan, Method Statements and Safety Plans.
- To ensure that all materials delivered on site are installed according to the instructions and design provided on the approved shop drawings.
- Responsible for maintaining quality of workmanship at the work face.
- To be aware of the activities of other contractors in the direct vicinity of current work areas.
- To foresee problem issues or interface difficulties and promptly report to the respective Site Managers for instructions.
- To assist in identifying and developing solutions to installation problems or work impediments as they are encountered or anticipated through out the project.
Supervisors must have Kalzip or façade experience.
